The Sr. Product Manager, Risk Intelligence plays a pivotal role in leveraging data and analytics to drive informed product decisions, shaping the future of Prodege’s anti-fraud measures. This role will focus on using advanced analytics and machine learning to identify fraud signals, detect trends, and continuously improve risk intelligence strategies. By developing data-driven roadmaps and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Sr. Product Manager will ensure that anti-fraud solutions are both scalable and aligned with business objectives. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to make impactful, data-informed decisions that enhance fraud detection while maintaining compliance with industry standards. Ultimately, this role will ensure that Prodege stays ahead of emerging threats by using data to measure effectiveness and drive continuous innovation in risk management.

Detailed Job Duties:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and lead the strategic vision for risk intelligence and anti-fraud measures, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
  • Analyze and identify fraud signals and related risks across Prodege’s consumer product portfolio and develop a roadmap of new features which are needed to improve our models.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize advanced analytics and insights to shape product decisions and demonstrate the effectiveness of anti-fraud initiatives.
  • Generate reports and insights based on ad hoc data analysis to evaluate fraud program strategies.

Market & Trend Analysis

  • Continuously monitor market trends and emerging threats in fraud, staying ahead of potential risks.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to design, develop, and deploy anti-fraud solutions.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch to continuous improvement, ensuring the delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights, including machine learning models, to enhance intelligence through both automated decisioning systems and manual interventions, resulting in reduced risk while balancing impact on growth.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with external stakeholders, partners, and industry forums to drive external risk intelligence adoption and share best practices.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all measures are compliant with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

A/B Testing

  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize risk detection features and ensure the best user experience.

Experimentation Framework

  • Develop and maintain a robust framework for running experiments to continuously improve fraud detection methodologies.

What does SUCCESS look like?

Successful performance in the role of Sr. Product Manager, Risk Intelligence will be demonstrated by the ability to lead the strategic vision for anti-fraud measures, delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that proactively mitigate risk across Prodege’s consumer product portfolio. The individual will successfully identify and address fraud signals, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features. Effective engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and driving adoption of risk intelligence best practices, will be key. Success will also be marked by continuous improvement in fraud detection methodologies through experimentation and A/B testing, resulting in measurable reductions in fraud without compromising business growth. Ultimately, the Sr. Product Manager will maintain a balance between risk reduction and business objectives, contributing to Prodege’s long-term strategic goals.

The MUST Haves:

  • Five or more (5+) years in product management, with at least three (3) years focused on risk, fraud detection, or related areas.
  • Advanced skills leveraging data and analytics to make informed product decisions, identifying trends, and measuring success.
  • Deep technical know-how in anti-fraud, including experience with advanced machine learning, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages and tools for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a passion for data-informed decision making
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving and dynamic environment, with a proactive and flexible mindset
  • In-depth knowledge of fraud detection methodologies, signals, and anti-fraud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of current fraud trends, threats, and emerging technologies in the fraud intelligence space.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fraud prevention and data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, with experience collaborating with internal and external partners.

The Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or Finance is highly preferred.
  • Certifications related to product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or fraud detection (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)) would be plus.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000-$145,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
