Strategic Imperative:

The Sr. Financial Analyst’s purpose is to drive financial planning and analysis in order to enable informed decision-making and support the company's operational and strategic initiatives. The Sr. Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing financial operations and reporting systems, creating and implementing budgets and forecasts, providing analytical support for strategic decisions, new product initiatives, and business intelligence activities. This position will report to the Director of Finance assisting to create budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and various ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions. The role will also provide key operational and strategic support on new product initiatives, ROI evaluations, and a variety of other business intelligence initiatives.

Detailed Job Duties:

  • Partner with Prodege’s leadership on setting the strategic course of Prodege’s Insights division.
  • Work with SVPs of Sales to evaluate sales rep performance, manage client profitability, and budget headcount.
  • Provide financial and data analysis and modeling to support the launch of new business lines. Manage ROI of strategic projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive and complex financial analysis and reporting for the business area, including revenue/expense forecasting and monthly variance analysis.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to be used for annual budget cycles.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts and use insights to drive meaningful action and communicate complex issues in a clear and concise way.
  • Support the development, expansion, and enhancement of financial and operational reporting capabilities that provide leadership with key insights about the business and help drive the right business decisions.
  • Routinely meet with executive leadership regarding operational and financial performance.
  • Develop high quality presentations for Management and Board of Directors.
  • Assist in proper recording, accounting and reporting of transactions.

What does SUCCESS look like?

Successful performance for a Sr. Financial Analyst involves driving financial planning and analysis to support informed decision-making across the company's operations and strategic initiatives. This includes enhancing financial operations and reporting systems, creating and implementing budgets and forecasts, and providing analytical support for strategic decisions and new product initiatives. A successful Sr. Financial Analyst will also work closely with senior management to evaluate sales performance, manage client profitability, and contribute to the development of financial models and reports that offer key business insights, aiding in the company's growth and strategic direction.


The MUST Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience from investment banking, management consulting, or internal corporate finance environments.
  • Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Intermediate experience with Netsuite.
  • Experience working with large datasets, automation, or business intelligence skills is necessary.
  • Ability to parse complex financial analysis into meaningful communications for business leaders.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detail oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.

The Nice to Haves:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics or related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in the market research industry is a plus.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 DOE. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the specifics of the commission plan, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US sales and account management job postings reflect the possible earning of base salary and commissions only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
