Detailed Job Duties:

  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring strong performance and optimum functionality.
  • Lead the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of system and software solutions, incorporating best practices and considering system scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards.
  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, identifying production and non-production application issues.
  • Innovate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and provide value to the organization.
  • Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge, guiding on best practices, and contributing to their growth and development within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay updated with emerging industry trends and technologies, applying them to operations and activities where applicable.

The MUST Haves:

  • 6+ years professional hands on software development experience, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • Expertise with core Java, Python and/or Scala languages, frameworks and idioms.
  • Experience with Relational and NoSQL data stores.
  • Knowledge of software development best-practices, including test automation and continuous delivery concepts.
  • Proven experience with large-scale software design and development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation and listening skills.

The Nice to Haves:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $123,000-$170,000 depending on experience. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
