The Conversion Rate Optimization Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance conversion rates across digital channels, collaborating with various teams to identify and implement improvements in pricing, cost reduction, and user engagement. This role is critical in designing and analyzing A/B tests to refine marketing strategies, maintaining performance metrics, and providing insights to senior management on optimization impacts.

Primary Objectives:

  • Strategize and implement methods to boost conversion rates across digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and data analytics teams for pricing improvements, cost reduction, and user engagement.
  • Design, conduct, and analyze A/B testing to refine marketing approaches.
  • Maintain and monitor key performance indicators to track and report on conversion rate success.
  • Provide actionable insights and regular updates to senior management regarding the effectiveness of conversion rate optimization efforts.

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)

  • Lead the development of hypotheses, including with cross-functional participation.
  • Build a consolidated testing roadmap with a corresponding scorecard for discussions in monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Actively gather best practices from the industry and adjacent industries.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize conversion rates across various digital channels within Prodege's Performance Marketing vertical.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, and Data Analytics to identify opportunities for improving pricing, reducing costs, and enhancing user engagement.
  • Design and manage A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, promotional offers, and user experience enhancements.
  • Analyze A/B test results to uncover insights and identify opportunities for optimization, leveraging statistical methods and data analysis tools.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics related to conversion rates, user engagement, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize and execute optimization initiatives based on business objectives and performance goals.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and conduct benchmarking analysis to identify areas for improvement and differentiation.
  • Build a QA practice to verify that all test variations are working as expected before a test launch and check early data post-launch to detect any issues.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management (CEO & CFO) on the performance and impact of conversion rate optimization initiatives.

Through meticulous analysis and maintenance of performance metrics, they will provide valuable insights to senior management, demonstrating a tangible impact on the company's marketing success and overall business objectives.

The MUST Haves: (ex: job cannot be done without these skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Three or more (3+) years working in user experience design, data science, experimentation, digital product management, or similar eCommerce roles centered on insights-driven design.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B tests.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Sigma, Datadog, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion rates and user engagement.
  • Curious mindset with a bias towards action to move ideas into reality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently extract and analyze data from various databases to support decision-making and project performance.

The Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in the mobile gaming, performance marketing or e-commerce industry is a plus.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
