Position overview:

As a Product Designer at Pollfish, you will play a crucial role in the development of our products from conception to launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for translating ideas and concepts into user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional designs. You will have the opportunity to leverage your creativity, technical skills, and user-centered design principles to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team, product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and design best practices.
• Maintain and improve the current design systems, including design specifications, style guides, and asset libraries.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs and maintain design consistency throughout the development process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design standards to continuously improve design processes and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+years) working as a product designer, UI/UX designer, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, process, and ability to solve complex design problems.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
• Comfort with data, you know when you don’t know enough to make a design decision and you seek out answers.
